"ONE RED HOT PEPPER"
Every Torch Red C5 Corvette roadster could be called a red hot pepper,
and since a friend sent photos of several Texas walls that contained the
early image of Dr. Pepper signage, I couldn¹t pass up using a red
Corvette roadster in front of one. I chose a 1998 or 1999 Corvette
convertible as the subject because of the large number of these cars on
the road, and using the Dr. Pepper sign seemed to be a natural, both in
color and subject relationship. This has been a very popular watercolor,
somewhat because of the reflections on the car. |
I spend up to 120 hours creating each image by hand as
an original watercolor, then reproduce a limited edition print series of 700
prints. The prints are 10 1/2" x 16" and retail for $60 unframed (plus $9
for shipping and insurance) and $150 framed (plus $35 shipping).

WILBUR¹S FRUIT MARKET"
I wanted to feature a Millennium Yellow Z06 Corvette in a watercolor
because, as most viewers will notice, I have a hot button for that
color. The Z06 was a tremendous new performance package introduced for
Corvette in 2001, and Buzz and Jackie Nielsen commissioned me to paint
their Z06 before a soft drink sign. Since yellow and purple are
complimentary colors in a painter¹s color scheme, I selected a Grapette
Soda sign I found in Fort Smith, Arkansas, as the background. I did a
lot of special research for this painting, going to the Farmer¹s Market
in Kansas City in early spring to photograph the fruit boxes against the
wall and then finding wall vents with old rusty fans to insert into the
wall. |
|
As I have done often in the past, I borrowed
the name Wilbur from a childhood friend¹s father. First names from the
previous generation work very well on the businesses in these older
building."

WallWerks |
The
image of the white C5 and the white 53 is my tribute to the 50th
anniversary of Corvette. While the official 50th anniv. car is
red, I really wanted to produce an image with both cars being the same color
for nostalgia sake. This image is 21 x 28 inches with a large white border.
It is printed on a 100% acid free watercolor sheet. The cost
unframed is 400 and framed is 600. This print will only be produced
in an edition
of 50 prints to celebrate the 50th anniversary. This image will
also be featured on the January 2003 cover of Vette to officially kick off
the 50th.
The Stars and Stripes Z06 has been a great seller for almost a year now. It
started out on the cover of Vette Magazine in the Jan 2002 issue. The print
size is 28 x 35 inches and is 75 dollars unframed, 225 framed. We
also produced a limited edition of 50 watercolor prints, and a few are still
remaining. Shipping is 10 dollars on unframed prints and 20 dollars on
framed prints.
We offer a 15% discount to C5 registry members on unframed prints and 20%
off on framed prints. Orders are usually filled within 2 weeks. All major
credit cards are accepted. We also have a very large selection of other
Corvette prints at
www.wallwerks.com

Doug Garrison |
This
limited-edition lithograph features the #3 Chevrolet Corvette C5-R Racing
Car, designed and
built by Pratt & Miller Engineering in partnership with GM Racing. The
team’s remarkable 2001 racing season featured eight victories in 10 races,
including an overall win in the Rolex 24 at Daytona and 1-2 finish in
GTS class in the 24 Hours of LeMans, the world’s most prestigious
long-distance race.
A NOTE FROM DOUG GARRISON: To me, there is nothing prettier than a
C5-R covered in
grime and dirt from hours at full-throttle, pounding around a sweeping
corner at speed. What makes this artwork special is the time of day of
the scene... Dusk -- with the lazy summer sun hanging low on the
horizon, the car just gleams in highlights. Add in the historic nature
of the car and season it dominated and it equals the perfect
endurance-racing setting.
My artwork has been commissioned by a wide
variety of some of the largest corporations in the USA, including Procter &
Gamble, Target Stores, Bridgestone/Firestone, Chevron/Texaco and more. In
addition my art is in the collection of some of the leading racing drivers,
including Ron Fellows and Johnny O'Connell (obviously), Mario Andretti,
Ricky Rudd, Ricky Craven, Dario Franchitti, Adrian Fernandez and more. My
other artwork can be seen at my website:
http://www.racingart.com
Udate:
Mr. Garrison will donate $25 from each sale to charity.
Mr. Garrison writes: After
reading on your site about the loss of Gary Claudio's friends and family
members in the 9/11 atrocities, I think a donation to that fund might be
very appropriate, especially since Gary has played such a big role in
helping me produce this print.
Lithograph is autographed by drivers Ron Fellows, Johnny O’Connell and Team
Owner/Engineer Gary Pratt.

Composite Prints by Paul Eggermann
I am offering custom made composite prints of your Corvette or other vehicles. These make ideal gifts for your favorite Corvette fanatic's office or den or just for your own comfort. Each one is a custom job and is printed on 13"x19" Professional Glossy Paper. I uses Lyson LightFast inks that are rated at 70 years when protected from direct sunlight. Steve Wright took me up on taking pictures of his car and these are the results. I used his shots and made the composite for him and also for his two sons. I will be attending the Birthday Bash, the Maine Event and Corvettes at Carlisle and will be available to take the pictures myself by appointment at those venues. I will not have a tent or formal sales area since I am not trying to make a big business out of this. You can contact me

Rolex
24 Hours at Daytona 2001
Limited Edition Digital Watercolor Print
C5Registry members Paul & Barbara Eggermann have taken to time to produce
a Commemorative print of the C5-R’s crossing the finish line at Daytona in
2001. They are offering prints of their work to member of the C5Registry
at a special price. They stood in the rain that Sunday and patiently
waited for the cars to come around for the last lap. Both cars had taken a
short rest in the pits since it was obvious that they had won the race and
did not want to risk an accident in the waning minutes of the race. Paul
took many pictures of the cars crossing the finish line during those last
laps so he would be ready for the real last lap. His practice paid off and
he got this great shot as they came around for the last time and crossed
under the flag. Barbara took this one precious frame and made it into a
watercolor to capture the essence of this great moment. They are happy to
share their work with the C5Registry. We have created this unique image
commemorating Corvette’s outstanding performance on February 4th, 2001.
First place overall and in the GTS class was taken by Corvette car number
2, driven by the team of Ron Fellows, Chris Kneifel, Frank Freon and
Johnny O’Connell. Car number 3 placed third overall and second in the GTS
class, driven by Andy Pilgrim, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhart Jr.
and Kelly Collins. This image is a watercolor impression of the actual
picture we took as the cars crossed the finish line. The C5-R teams
arranged themselves at the end of each race so that they were side by side
as they crossed under the checkered flag. This display of teamwork is
their lasting expression of how they work together throughout the year to
create a winning team. 2001 was probably the last year that the factory
C5-R teams will appear at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona since GM has
announced that they are more interested in the American LeMans Series.
What better way to remember this fantastic effort that included Dale
Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. in their first and last C5-R road
race together. They had a ball and so did the C5Registry members who
joined them at the track.
$25.00 special pricing
for C5Registry members includes shipping. Contact Paul Eggermann at

Rob Fellows |
In
cooperation with GM Motorsports, artist Rob Fellows and brother of Daytona
24 Hour and LeMans winner Ron Fellows, is producing an exciting limited
edition print from his original oil painting entitled "24 Hours Determined."
The painting was created as a tribute to this year's popular victory by the
factory C5 Corvette at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, and features Ron as he
storms around the Speedway's legendary banking in the dampness of Sunday
morning. In what was to be an historic event, the win established
Corvette's place in the record book of modern sports car racing. For Ron it
was also a milestone achievement as he became the first Canadian driver to
win the event overall.
Reproduced on 80 lb 100% acid free museum paper, this collection will be
limited to 395 copies. Each print will be hand signed by the artist as well
as team members Ron Fellows, Johnny O'Connell, Chris Kneifel and Franck
Freon. Prints are now available for
purchase at Rob's website, located at
www.robfellows.com.
You can also make your purchase by calling (720)530-0788 or faxing your
information to (720)890-4049. Visa and Mastercard are excepted for both
secure online purchases or telephone orders.
As a special offer for this new release Rob has
put together some incredible gifts, and all those who purchase a print will
be eligible for these prizes; including free prints, autographed racing
items and a very special one-of-a-kind grand prize. Check out Rob's website
for more details about the print and this promotion, or for more information
about the artist.
This
latest Rob Fellows C5R lithograph is entitled
‘United We Stand’
and was inspired by
the message of solidarity delivered in the wake of September 11 at the 2001
Petit Le Mans by GM Racing and Pratt & Miller’s C5R Corvette team. The
lithograph, reproduced from Rob’s original oil painting, depicts both C5Rs
at the Road Atlanta event where this special one-off color scheme was
displayed.

Lee Bivens |
Dear
Ladies and Gentlemen, I, artist A. Lee Bivens,
proudly presents Dale Earnhardt. My 16 year art career has culminated by a
blessing from the Earnhardt's to produce this lithograph titled "The
Greatest Warrior" Indeed, a great honor to be chosen to produce this art
work.
I am introducing this limited edition print to a very
specific audience, to you the-drivers of America's greatest sports car. Why
you ask that it is Corvette enthusiasts I am offering this exclusive print
simply that I like the car and the people that drive them. Also, the history
and relationships between my art work, Corvette, Mr. Earnhardt and his
historic drive in the C5R at Daytona is significant. A brief history, in
1998 I was asked by the Earnhardts to paint a large mural in their museum, I
agreed and spent many days on location at DEI. About the same time I met the
fine folks of Corvettes of Carlisle and was contracted to produce a
collection of limited edition prints featuring the C5R (factory racer) thus
becoming their "Official Artist". During my stay with the Earnhardts I
presented Dale a Corvette lithograph. Dale liked the painting and agreed to
license a similar painting which would feature him in his' #3 Nascar. That
original Corvette lithograph not only lead to the creation of "The Greatest
Warrior" print, but possibly assisted in Dales motivation to drive the C5R.
Because only a few days after my C5R art gift to Dale, a surprise press
release was issued stating that the worlds greatest car driver would be
behind the wheel of the fabulous C5R for the Daytona 24 hour.
Presently I am working on the third painting for the
Corvettes of Carlisle collection which has become a part of my soul due to
the fact that every year I travel to the show meet thousands of Corvette art
collectors and fans! My respect for Dale Earnhardt is unchallenged, he is
and was the greatest of human beings not only during competition but on a
personal basis. My respect for Corvette, GM engineers and those of you that
drive this fine automobile is also very important to me as well and I want
you to have a copy of this limited edition art work before they are sold
out.
Please call the art studio toll free to order, review
the master list (to select a special edition number) or for general
questions 24/7. Toll
