Chevrolet is preparing to celebrate the "official" return of Corvette to road racing when the new factory-developed C5-R race cars (based upon the production C5) debut at the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 30-31, 1999.
We are just as excited about the new production C5 Hardtop’s role as the Official Pace Car of the Rolex 24 and the prospect of witnessing America’s performance icon lead an international field of racing machines around Daytona’s famed road course.
