This radically innovative technology flawlessly tunes the exhaust sound and allows maximum performance. Our unique "purge chamber" cancels out 100% of all unwanted low-rpm interior resonance, while having the performance benefits of a straight through design. For the less aggressive enthusiast, B&B Fabrication has re-engineered its legendary 180-degree muffler design and given it a new name – Route 66. The B&B Route 66 muffler has a warm exhaust sound at idle and a robust full-throttle note.
Also new to the B&B Fabrication line-up is the aggressive Speedway tip. Its shape compliments the C5 bodywork and greatly improves exterior cosmetics. A large rolled-edge gives plenty of flash, showing off the polished T-304 stainless steel finish. The Speedway tip is available on the PRT and Route 66 system, in addition to the quad 3.5" round tips and the quad 4.5" oval tips sought after by all C5 enthusiasts.
All B&B Fabrication Performance Exhaust systems are 100% T-304 stainless steel, featuring a limited lifetime warranty. Additionally, they are a direct replacement for the original equipment; no cutting, welding, or modification is required.
