1999 Test Mule - GM Mesa Proving Grounds

This GM Test Mule was brought to the C5 Registry Dinner by Jim Contes, Senior High Speed test engineer at the Mesa Proving Grounds. It's a 1999 C5 with 2002 ZO6-405HP engine, suspension, drive train, exhaust, etc.

Jim tests this car at 178 MPH.. A full tank of fuel lasts about 35 Minutes at that speed on the 5 Mile Oval. Jim showed us a video of the car at speed during the dinner.
