As most of you know already, the Memorial Celebration for Sandy Labaree will be held at 1:00pm on April 1st at Wiscasset High School, Wiscasset, Maine. Our daughter, Christy, and I want to thank in advance all of you who are planning to make the trip for this service to pay joyful tribute to Sandy. This amazing lady touched the lives of countless people as she spent the last two years of her life travelling the country on her mission, the Corvettes Conquer Cancer Tour for the American Cancer Society, while dealing peacefully with her own terminal illness.

We will have tables at the celebration to place pictures or other tangible memories you have of Sandy for everybody to see before and after the service, so please bring something, but put your name on it so you can pick it up afterwards.

DIRECTIONS:
From Portland and south - Take I-95 north to Brunswick, Route 1 (Exit 22, mile marker 72). Stay on Route 1 North through Brunswick and Bath, where you will cross an old bridge with a new bridge nearing completion next to it. Stay on Rt. 1. About 8.5 miles from the bridge you will pass a large Ford dealer flying a HUGE American flag on the right. About 1.5 miles past the flag is the Wiscasset Municipal Building on the left. Immediately past the WMB, turn left onto Route 27 North. Wiscasset High School is 1.3 miles on the left.

From Augusta and north - Take Route 27 South. As you come into Wiscasset you will pass Marriner Lumber on the left. Wiscasset High School is one (1) mile on the right.

From "Down East" - Take Route 1 South. About 0.4 miles after crossing the bridge into Wiscasset, turn right onto Route 27 North. Wiscasset High School is 1.3 miles on the left.

From Boston: 3 hours. From Portland: 1 hour.
From Augusta: 45 minutes
From Bangor: 2 hours.
