Dale Earnhardt Returns to National Corvette Museum

BOWLING GREEN, KY--Seven time Winston Cup Champion Dale Earnhardt will be returning to the Corvette Museum on Thursday, March 26, 1998. Only 1.500 tickets will be sold to allow all ticket holders the opportunity to obtain an autograph from the popular NASCAR legend. Earnhardt is scheduled to arrive at the museum at 5:00 PM and will be greeting fans for at least two hours. The #3 Goodwrench Monte Carlo will also be on display.

Tickets are $25.00 and go on sale Tuesday, February 17, at 10:00 AM at the National Corvette Museum.  Fans will be allowed an autograph according to ticket number to facilitate the line and limit waiting time. An auction will be conducted with NASCAR memorabilia, including the shirt worn and signed by Earnhardt at last year's appearance. The Corvette Store will be stocked with NASCAR merchandise as well as unique Corvette items, and the store and museum will be open to all ticket holders.

"We're thrilled to have the "Intimidator" back with us," said Museum Executive Director Wendell Strode. "We had great response last year and this appearance is in keeping with our promise to bring him back for the enjoyment of his many fans."

Weather permitting, general admission tickets will also be sold the day of the event.
